Widget for lock screen
It would be nice to have a small widget on the lock screen to trigger recording. Having to find the action button if the phone is sitting on a desk is a bit tricky sometimes.

I agree. Anything that removes the need to unlock the phone makes it faster.
That would be helpful. A home screen glanceable button would also work for me.
